The 2nd season of the hit show The Voice will be bringing out big names to make appearances as advisers during the battle rounds of the upcoming season.
Lionel Richie, Babyface, Kelly Clarkson, and Ne-Yo have all been tapped to advise future contestants. Miranda Lambert, Alanis Morissette, and Robin Thicke, have also been listed to appear on the show.
The network announced today that the group of 8 will join coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera for the battle round pitting two artists from each team against one another to sing a duet. At the end of each battle round, each artists’ respective coach will then decide who goes home and who moves forward to the live shows.
Each of the four coaches brought in a pair of advisers, with Blake Shelton working to his wife, Miranda Lambert, and Kelly Clarkson. Team Adam Levine will feature Alanis Morissette and Robin Thicke; Team Christina Aguilera will feature Jewel and Lionel Richie; while Team Cee Lo will be joined by Babyface and Ne-Yo.
The Voice premieres in the plumb post-Super Bowl time slot on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 10 PM (9 PM CST), and returns to its regular slot the following day on Monday, Feb. 6 at 8 PM (7 PM CST). *~*SOURCE*~*
